Message Dear participants of the Internet – Forum!
The world is facing the consequences of one of the most severe crises, which affected practically all countries in the world. Gradually we see the hope of future recovery. Nowadays the world is on the threshold of new political and economic changes. We should use the crisis lessons to establish a new model of economic development. The III Astana Economic Forum on the theme “Crisis Lessons and Post-Crisis Model of Economic Development in Globalization Conditions” will be devoted to discussion of these issues. Today every country on the planet has to solve issue – how to achieve a stable development in present conditions. To do this, it will require enormous efforts of the entire world community, mobilization of intellectual and material resources, and time. One of the tools for the efforts integration is the Internet forum, which will be held on the threshold of the III Astana Economic Forum from September 20, 2009 till June 1, 2010. I am confident that each of you has your own opinion on the raised issues. Expressed views, original thoughts, ideas, knowledge and suggestions at the Internet Forum will be considered by the world economic community. The most outstanding ideas will be basis for interesting discussions at the forthcoming III Astana Economic Forum and, of course, will be helpful in establishing stable and prosperous world. I believe that the results of our work, views and experience exchange on key development issues of national and world economy will promote our further strategic cooperation, and the dialogue platform that is established in Astana will play decisive role in it.

The end of the last year and beginning of the current 2009 year are marked with series of international summit meetings with a view to develop regulation measures against the global economic crisis. There are G-20 Summit (Washington, the USA, the 15th of November, 2008), Forum of Asia and Europe countries, Colloquium on “New World, New Capitalism” (Paris, France the 8-9th of January, 2009), and the World Economic Forum (Davos, Switzerland, the 28th of January – the 1th of February, 2009).
Preparation for the III Astana Economic Forum is to be continued in JSC “Economic Research Institute”, which is the Executive body of Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists.
However, work of the Forum has already started in the framework of the Internet-Forum at the web-site www.economyclub.info, which is held to unite the efforts of scientists, economists and practitioners to develop a post-crisis model of economic development in conditions of globalization.
